Synopsis of House of X: The House that Xavier Built
The first issue of House of X takes us to the mutant island of Krakoa, where Professor X is surrounded by eggs with full-grown mutants. Professor X welcomes them.
Over time, mutants plant various plants across the world. These plants are capable to engulfing entire buildings in just a couple weeks. Magneto and Stepford Cuckoos greet ambassadors from various nations where one of this plants is growing.
Meanwhile, Marvel Girl and a group of mutants are going through a portal in Krakoa, where Cypher and Sage are creating the technological support of what will become a nation for mutants.
Orbiting near the sun, humans have formed Orchis, a space station where group of humans who believe to be the last hope of humanity habit. There, they’re building a Mothermold.
At Damage Control Contested Storage, we witness Mystique, Toad, and Sabretooth trying to break in, but they’re interrupted by the Fantastic Four. After a fight, Sabretooth is captured and taken into custody by the Cyclops, while Mystique and Toad manage to escape.
Mystique and Toad teleport to Krakoa, the place which Magneto has made clear to the nations of Earth that Krakoa is a sovereign nation of mutants. A nation which will not serve any of humanity’s desires.
